Lots of Black Cat (including a new bag with Creed and Train on it! YAY!)
Lots of Deaath Note(including a set of dogtags with the L logo on it. Not official, just cheapass ones I found at a jewellery store which had the same gothic L).
shitload of manga. Really, ridiculous amounts.
And I completely modded an old pair of jeans, so they look kick ass.
Minotaur is my new home away from home.

I've realised I dress completely differently in Aus then in Oman. People I hang out with in Oman would probably find it a little difficult to recognise me.
Interesting, I guess.

On a cheerful note, all the rats are dead. Also, brother seems happier now that his mates are around. Happier brother = happier me.

Flying on your own is at the same time better and worse than flying with others. On the one hand, you don't have top worry about anyone else, it's just making sure you get where you need to go when you need to go there. On the other hand, there's nobody else to make sure you don't get distracted by the shiny toys in Duty Free and get to your gate on time.
I was flying to Melbourne on my own today. yesterday? Travel time is confusing.
My first solo trip! But I've flown internationally so many times that it was completely routine- kind of cool, I didn't have to worry baout the unknown, the only unexpected addition was me filling out a Swine Flu card on the plane into Melbourne, saying that I was not ill. Which I'm not.
Uh...It was a long trip- starting 2:30 am, I flew at 5am from Muscat to Dubai, (2hrs) then from Dubai to Singapore (10hrs) and then Singapore to Melbourne (7hrs) whereupon I had to navigate customs and find the bus stop into Southern Cross, which wasn't too hard, tiring, but not hard. My brother (who I promised I would mention on my blog as being 750% awesome, so there, Will, your 750% awesome. That's 250% less awesome than me, and whole 1250% less awesome than Barney) was meeting me at the stop, and on the trip there I had half an hour to think of what bloody murder I would visit upon him if he didn't turn up.
He turned up, saving him from the joys of having his intestines ripped out and then me calling our mother and saying that he hadn't turned up (a sight far more painful than the disembowelling. Trip home was nice, and I rabbited on about EVERYTHING in the overtired hyped up on pepsi way that always happens to me after a long flight.
I read a Gaiman book- Shadows and Mirrors, a collection of short stories. As always, completely awesome and very much reccomended. A couple of dirty bits, in the clinical way Gaiman writes about them, as normal, but still really good. Seriously, check it out. Very good for plane flights. Uh...I downloaded Dr. Horrible's Sing Along blog onto my iPod, which is itself finally starting to give up the ghost - the headphone jack's broken. Also, I watched about two and a half seasons of How I Met Your Mother. Also totally awesome.
Lots of stuff is going happen here, there's a Dali exhibition at the museum, so I'm going to that, and a whole load of shopping to do, and my bro's birthday to celebrate, so I'm gonna be CRAZY busy.
On top of that, I'm also working on a LIFE ON MARS/SUPERNATURAL CROSSOVER.
Yes, It can happen.
It will happen.
It is happening.

So...yeah, I'm gonna get back to hanging out with the older brother now.

ok....it's very pretty, I like Dean muchly, the image doesn't take up too much space, which is good because I have a ton of desk top icons. And did I mention it's pretty? Also, I'd just got into SPN when I went wallpaper hunting, and this was the only vaguely reasonable one I could find in a short amount of time.. But I might change it for something non fandom related soon....

A/N: I don't know where this came from. I opened a word document in the hope of getting a better handle on the Psych characters, and this happened. I don't know if it works...it's not as funny as my usual Psych stuff. Which means, yes, I have written other Psych fics, but it's not good enough to post. Oh well.

Ok, so Psych is now AWESOME.
Well, I'm certain it has always been awesome, but it has recently been bumped up from, huh, if it's on I'll watch it to OMG PSYCH YAY NO I CAN'T GO OUT ON THURSDAY BECAUSE, DUDE, PSYCH! This is the same thing that happened to both House and Fake News, so expect large amounts of squee, and the hunting of the Psych actors through their careers.
Now, because it is new, it also has sproinged plot bunnies, and vid ideas, and fanmix ideas (yes, I post fanmixes, but generally on comms- my best is the "Stephen" mix- Give the Man a Hand- on fakenews_fanfic, for those who like TDS/TCR and rock music)
I will obviously be unable to pin one of these down on my own, so some help deciding would be cool- obviously, I can't do the vid, because I have no clips, although I know exactly which clips I would use.

-Lassiter takes it upon himself to try and prove Shawn would never make it as a real detective. Shawn is all pfft, whatever, Lassie. Lassie pushes. Shawn does police-y things. There is awesomeness. Shawn proves he would be A KICKASS police man. Lassie is confused as to why he isn't. Shawn bunks off to go drink smoothies with Gus. All is made clear.

-For some unknown reason, Shawn goes undercover at a different police station, this time as a detective (yes, I know it makes no sense...work with me here, k?), with Lassiter as his partner. There are hijinks. There is protocol. There are paperwork cramps. There are many long suffering phone calls to Gus about said paper work cramps and protocol and Lassie being a prick. Case is solved, they return to Santa Barbara, and Shawn is overjoyed and runs off to go do Shawn-ish things like annoy Gus and harrass Jules and try to figure out how to bake pineapple upside down cake in the Easy Bake Oven without causing food poisoning.

-There are pineapples everywhere now that Lassiter associates with Shawn. Why? It used to be mangoes. A.K.A. cracktastic fruit ponderings while Lassie tries to fill in paper work.

And various snippets of Gus and Shawn and Lassie, because I love them, and unlike the girls, I think I could write them.
